Disney, Barbara, Bette Middler, various movies, music. Future Emmy, Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Winner. Aspiring diva.
As another Oscar winner said, “hello gorgeous!” I stand before you as a product of years of pAin, heartache, joy and practice. For years I thought that my work was futile. I thought that I was negligible in everyone’s eyes. I never thought I truly mattered. It is a common notion in our industry that we view ourselves how others view us. I am no exception to this, I am going to be totally honest and say, that this has just raised my self esteem a million points, and has finally validated everything I’ve done. Now, to all you aspiring actors out there: don’t ever give up. Don’t ever stop dreaming. Every dream is valid. You may think that no one notices you, but I guarantee that someone does. Be who you are, no matter what, and the people that matter the most will love you for it, and the people who don’t, aren’t worth your time. :)
ICYMI: Kate McKinnon and Lena Dunham are two young feminists in the house… and it’s time to celebrate!
